This happens every time I respond to a post made by someone on gawker tech, I thought most of the Gawker "commentariat" outside Oppo where pretty much a bunch of trolls, seems like I was wrong.
Or is there some sort of plot going on? "Make the Norwegian and his funny english feel secure, then we SLAM HIM" ??

Well only the truly dedicated/interested will be paying attention to what Tech is doing. The masses just freak out like children when their work goes live.
You've just tapped into a much more reasonable audience than the front page yokels we all know and love.

I kinda figured that much. But it's really nice to see people actually acting like adults (outside Oppo that is). It feels great to be able to discuss stuff about Kinja in a rather serious way.

Actually your English is better than the average American for sure.

Yep. It is reassuring to see that there are still good communities out there. Sometimes it is hard to remember that, or even find them.

Thanks, but I'm not entirely sure that's correct. It's just that I, as a non native speaker, pay more attention to the stuff I write. I would agree that my vocabulary is better than the average American though, but that's more me being a language geek ;)

Hehe.. I think it's more the fact that I'm slightly dyslectic. But thanks.

Dyselxia, it is a hell of a drug.

When you're only slightly affected it actually IS a "drug" of sorts, makes you more aware.. Can't say I envy anyone who struggles with it tho'
My only problem is that I can't figure out when I should be using double consonants or not. And of course I've got problems with is/are, to/too and such as well, since I spent my time figuring out that stuff about double consonants :P
